New Careless Driving Laws Come Into Force
A new offence of causing death by careless driving comes into effect on Monday 18th August. The new offences will allow courts to imprison drivers who cause deaths by not paying due care to the road, or to other road users.

New Car Tax System 2009
It has been announced that the new system for taxing cars will be introduced from 2009. The new system will use the amount of CO2 that the car omits and the type of fuel that it uses, rather than the engine size. This information is on the car’s log book - also called a V5 document. The new system will only be introduced for cars that were registered on or after 1st March 2001 ( Y ).
A Level Results Out on 14th July
Well the long wait is over, A Level results will be received on the Thursday 14th August.
